The Story Behind Our Foundation
The Godfrey Oundo Care Foundation was born out of a deep-seated desire to bring about change in our communities. Rooted in the fellowship of Ouma Church, our work began with a simple conviction: that faith without action is incomplete. Witnessing the struggles of less fortunate members, street families, and the potential of our youth being untapped, we knew we had to act.
We are a registered organization founded on the principles of compassion, integrity, and service, with a firm commitment to being a non-profit, non-political, and non-tribal beacon of hope for all. Our work is driven by the belief that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, deserves a chance at a better life.
From our earliest days at Ouma Church, we have focused on building relationships within the community, understanding the real needs of the people we serve, and developing programs that create sustainable, long-term impact. Our approach is rooted in respect, dignity, and the understanding that lasting change comes from empowering individuals to transform their own lives.
